10 Tips to get long and healthy hair naturally!!

Hello beauties, in this post we will share tips that will help your hair grow faster and healthier.

We all love long hair. Isn’t there something magical about long hair? Don’t we crave them?  But maintaining them seems so unrealistic in these times. We have busy schedules, heavily polluted environment and the main thing is, no patience! Don’t get disheartened, as we have some tips and remedies for natural hair growth. First of all, thanks to all the natural resources available in India. 

Here are some tips: 

1.Oil your hair

Oiling is one of the most important step for healthy and long hair. Oiling  your hair gives protection from hair loss, split-ends, frizziness, dullness, dandruff, thinning and greying. Oil your your hair 2-3 times a week.

If you have dry hair, hot oil massage will be helpful.

2. Maintain a healthy diet

Your diet makes a huge difference in how fast your hair grows! Eat lots of proteins. Some of the best sources of proteins are green leafy vegetables, beans, egg, fish, lean meat and dairy.

  • Proteins: Egg
  • Iron: Spinach and other green leafy vegetables.
  • Dose of Vitamin C: Citrus fruits like orange, lemon.
  • Omega-3 fatty acids: Almond, Walnut and Flax seeds.
  • Biotin: Whole grains
  • Vitamin A: Carrots
  • Vitamin E: Avocado

3. Hair Wash

Do not shampoo your hair everyday. You can wash your hair twice a week.Do not wrap wet hair in a towel as it causes hair breakage and hair fall.Always use a conditioner after shampooing your hair.

Wash your hair with cold water or water at room temperature. This will protect your hair from spoiling.

4. Avoid heat styling products

Limit the heat styling products as much as possible. Heat removes the moisture and damages your cuticles. Avoid blow drying your hair, as it causes split ends and frizziness of your hair. If you are straightening or curling your hair, make sure that you use a heat protecting serum.

5. Use DIY hair masks

Hair masks makes a huge difference in your hair. You can use hair masks according to your hair types. You can use natural home made hair masks twice a week. 

6. Always be very specific while choosing hair products and supplements.

7. Use silk pillow covers, as they won’t end up breaking your hair and thus, helping your hair grow faster.

8. Trim your hair every 6 months.

9. Brush your hair right way:

 Don’t brush your hair when its wet. Choose right comb for your hair type.

10.  Drink lots of water

Drink your H2O. Hydrated hair is healthy hair. Drink 2 litres of water everyday.
